OBi aims to help businesses of all shapes and sizes in the Torfaen area. These are focused on the following three areas.
Types of businesses we help
Start-ups
Helping start-ups at the point of considering starting a business.
These start-ups are at early stages of development and can include:
- Fledgling ideas not fully scoped and are needing help with business plans and getting moving
- A product or service that is being considered to take to market
New businesses
This covers those who have started trading and need assistance with all aspects of a new business, this can include:
- Businesses with questions and little to no-support. Businesses looking for advice or assistance ranging all general business aspects that fall outside one’s expertise.
- Businesses looking for others like themselves or other services.
Growing businesses
Businesses that have been trading for over a year that are aiming to grow. This could include:
- What is involved in employing staff and growing the business.
- Looking at expanding to premises, moving out of the home office, going from a van brick-and-mortar.
